Yes I gave up pretty quickly...

LF conditions look to have been a bit ropey all day and I note the F2 critical frequency has been low today and dived quickly  (quicker than usual?) around 20:00. Even the longer stations sounded a bit watery..HB9, DL etc

Couple that with the "romantic date"...and it does seem to have made it difficult one. Well done to all the folks who I could hear working at it.

Having invested recently in a microHAM MK2R+ (with the benefit of 'proper
FSK'), I thought tonight might make more DATA contacts.  

 

Not to be! 

 

A mere 24 Qs; was it just me?, conditions? - - or probably both!

 

I did *hear* (see?) more stations though, which has to be somewhat of an
improvement over last year!
