[UK-CONTEST] Insurance

'Morning all,

Here we go again, slightly off topic!

Recently, our contest group purchased a generator. Even though it's
second-hand, it cost several £k and it occurs to me it should be insured.
Most of the time it will be locked away in the garage of one of the group
members. Then for contests it will be transported to site and used outdoors
for a weekend, say, ten times a year.

I will be contacting Amateur Radio Insurance Services, who I insure my radio
equipment with. I'll also ask the company with whom I insure my house and
contents. And, I see a new possibility mentioned in this month's Radcom.

I'm open to other suggestions, what say ?
