This is a request for a bit of help, from you SO2R boys....
I am planning on entering this years RSGB VHF NFD Contest, in the QRP
section.
As there doesn't seem to be any interest from the local clubs, I'll do it on
my own.
So what I need to do is operate 144MHz for 24 Hours, 50MHz on the Saturday,
and 430MHz Sunday.
Getting the gear setup for the QRP section is easy, but the problem (or
challenge) will be how do I operate SO2R on the Saturday and Sunday.
I plan on using my 756PROII for 50MHz and my FT736R for 144MHz, then
changing over to a 430MHz Transverter driven from the 756 and still using
the FT736R for 144MHz.
So, whats the best way to run the two Transceivers in SO2R ?
Any suggestions ?
(Please, no "Go join a VHF Contest Group" comments !)
Cheers
