No it's not a deal breaker for me.  I notice in the CW automation features
it's a bit like the old CT in its use of the keypad INSERT and + keys.  In
fact it looks like you would only press F1 when running if nobody came back
to you.

Btw how do you switch between Run and S&P? I've not found that yet.

Those who favour WinTest all seem to say it is pretty reliable; I'll look
forward to finding out.

Not really - if ESM is a dealbreaker for you, then you won't be able
to use WinTest until V4 comes out. (No dates yet from the developers,
but they've committed to doing it)

Personally it's not a feature I care about, and would heartily
recommend WinTest for CW and Phone multi-op contesting (It also has
tons of bells & whistles for SO2R, but I don't care about that,
either). It's the only software I've ever used that can stay up for 48
hours solid in a high-power M/M environment, with not a single network
glitch.
