[UK-CONTEST] SD CW keying

Chris,

Not sure how you are set up there, but this is how it works with me on SD
V13.29:

Enable autosend (using the asterisk key) - RU'n' appears under the call
field - exchange starts automatically after you've entered the first 'n'
characters of the call. Esc stops sending instantly and leaves you at the
call field. After autosend has started, you can continue to enter the
remaining characters (they appear in the call field) which are added
automatically to your current exchange, as long as you get them in before
the exchange has finished. The position of the cursor is immaterial in this
sequence.

If you miss the boat, one Tab back to the call field allows you to complete
the call entry while the other station is sending, then Enter to take you
silently to the number field. When you've entered the received number, a
further Enter sends the full call followed by TU (default). Of course, if
you didn't need to add letters, or otherwise edit the call, the final Enter
just sends TU.

As Paul indicated earlier, all this only happens when you're actually keying
out to a radio, it doesn't work when you're monitoring on your sound card in
test mode.

73, Peter G3LET
