Wow well done Avril,
I stayed with it till the end and only worked 57. With 3 G stations, not
very good for about 11 hours of operating.
Again this year I used one of the Reading and District ARC club calls M0AAA.
9 on 10 Metres with 4 mults. I caught the band just at the right time. HA,
YL, DL, 9A
48 on 15 Metres with 25 mults. Best mults were VK2BJ, 9J2BO, VP8NO, KO1U,
W1AO,
Total points 4698
Not as good as last year 5070 when I used the other club call G3ULT/P.
Very basic station FT2000, 100 watts into a trapped dipole. The last QSO was
at 1446.
I did call you Avril during the test, you were a good 59 in Reading. I
thought by the speed, slick operating and excellent CW it was Ken G0ORH on
the key.
Work you in a contest soon
