Hi Stewart
If you ever run run short of DL QSLs, I might be able to
spare a few ;-0
Simple answer is to post your QSL policy on qrz.com. Sadly
in my experience not much notice is taken, but you have to
do something to minimise the impossible burden from contest
activity.

Folks,
I've been surprised at how many stations automatically send
qsl cards
for contest QSOs. I've been getting loads from DLs for
instance and to
be honest I don't particularly need 'em but feel an
obligation to
reciprocate nevertheless.
It's clearly not possible to indicate your qsl preferences
during a
contest so I was wondering how others feel about this and if
anyone has
any suggestions of how to prevent them piling in after a
contest - an
indication in one's profile on QRZ.COM perhaps (maybe a note
in the
Times personal column...??) or is there a good contesting
list which
would be read by the bulk of contesters where you could
circulate your
wishes.
I would want to indicate that I'm happy to send my card to
those who
maybe need a GW card, but don't need one in return; seems
such a waste
of time, paper and effort for something that will probably
end up in the
recycling bin - shame.

Stewart Rolfe, GW0ETF
