Guys,

Thanks for all the replies. I have not previously had signal strength 
problems since the service moved to Anthorn. I guess I was spoilt when 
it was at Rugby (about 6 miles from here).

Both my clocks did not change to GMT until last night and the little 
'satellite dish' symbol for signal strength was totally absent 
yesterday on both clocks.  Today all is back to normal with a good 
signal showing. I wonder if the signal strength symbol is affected by 
whether the clock is 'locked' to the transmitter?  If this is the case 
and both clocks lost lock then the absence of the signal strength 
symbol is explained.

I think I will keep a closer eye on it in future to see if anything 
like this happens again.
