[UK-CONTEST] SSB Field Day MW1LCR/P

This years effort in the Restricted Section was somewhat worse than last
years....a different Aerial was used, and I had horrendous problems
getting it to tune....using an Analyser it was all looking good, but
give it a sniff of RF and no chance. Anyway, best band was 40m. I
operated in total for 14 hours. Stange conditions, with lots of deep
fading on 20m at times to Europe,on the Sunday, with the JA's coming out
of the noise and back in again. Down on 80m, the DX mob at the top of
the band were handing out disqualification notices to anyone who worked
the European contester 1 or 2 KHz inside their precious window. It was
really funny to listen to this surreal Scottish voice coming up out of
the noise  saying "that’s a disqualification..." like something out of a
1960's hallucinogenic induced Monty Python sketch.....  Anyway, the WX
held up, no wind and rain this year. 

Other thing was the number of people who said, "Hello Adrian" , mostly
German...I wonder whats going on ?

Back to the original aerial next year...
