here! However 500 yards max is the DX GW3RIH>GW3NJW. My erp
when beaming Africa is probably 1000 watts into the 1000MP

I live <270 metres from GW3RIH ( probably 500 yards line of
sight)  who runs a bog standard 1000MP into a TL922. I run a
PRO3 into an ACOM1000. I would simply never be aware of him
if he were on SSB on the same band, and ditto for him when
I'm on CW. Even on CW I can work within 20kHz of him on the
same band same mode, although I can hear the flak  a bit!
Therefore I suspect you should have no problems.

G'day,

A timely reminder.  I will be on during the contest.  I've
also been
talking to Bob VP8LP about it.  With luck I might get Bob to
do SSB and I
will do CW, however, he's got some visitors coming to stay
that weekend
and might not have time to play.  There is just enough
separation between
us (270 metres) to work the same band, well, my K2 will live
with it I
think Bob's MP1000 Mk5 might be pushed on 15M.

I had hoped to be running the K3.

Just need a bit of Sol action to wake things up.
