[UK-CONTEST] 80M SSB Sprint!

Had been really looking forward to tonight's SSB Sprint......

So much so that I had been ready to go a week early (certain members of the
Triple A team will be aware of that faux pas...)

All was working well on 80m for me Tuesday afternoon ....... earlier this
evening all appeared as normal too....    NOT SO AT 19.45 THOUGH :-(
Band appeared totally flat and infinite SWR :-(

What to do?  Ground mount HF9, or 1/4wave sloping wire (facing West)?
Neither is particularly good for inter-G working but the sloping wire it
was...... for a grand total of 45 Qs :-(

Granted not everyone's cup-of-tea, but I enjoyed it - would have even more
with a decent antenna!
