Hi Marios

I had a similar problem at the start of operations at GB200T. There are
two coax links on the back that must be made to connect the antennas to
the receivers. I hope you didn't get caught out by this simple omission?

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] ICOM 756 pro III front-end

Hi all,

in an attempt to try something new for contesting, I invested in a 756
pro
III. I spent a week preparing for CQWW CW for an SO2R entry only to find
out
at 00:00Z (start) that my 756 pro III was deaf. Arhhhhh! I never
transmitted
on the same band and had BPF throughout and was not running excessive
power
but I believe that the front-end was somehow fried.

I had a similar problem with my 1000MP at WRTC and managed to repair it
by
changing an SMD diode (info on my website). Is there an equivalent one
for
the 756 pro III (now out of warranty)? Does anyone have a technical
manual? I couldnt find anything obvious from "Dr google".

Many thanks in advance
