[UK-CONTEST] Weak Signals on 144

[Ray Hills]

Unlike David, without a reasonable lift I can reach about 200km or so if the 
other end is well sited.  I have never worked GM from here in Hampshire.  I 
cannot hear the Angus beacon.  But I still take part in the 144 contests. 
Maybe sheer masochism?  Or just taking up the challenge?  Or was I just 
brought up in a different generation of amateur radio?
