Hard to disagree, Tom, however you can't help but admire their efforts - an 
incredible project.

This is the same team (I think) which were part of the 1980's OH8OS 20m 
project - 6 x 6 element yagis in a stack. I still have an OH8OS QSL card 
which annoyed me with the pompous statement 'the era of individual 
achievements in amateur radio is over' !  I think this 20m array only lasted 
a few years before being damaged and dismantled.
