Interesting conditions tonight. Good fun in a masochistic kind of way. I
made just 30 QSOs from Surrey and the vast majority were a struggle!
The QRM levels from Russia and Italy were very high. Nevertheless I was
quite surprised that a couple of the regular UK table toppers were CQing
with quite readable signals but no matter how I loud shouted they couldn't
copy me. Presumably the QRM was even worse for them. 
I reckon the optimum skip was getting on for 1000miles.
