Never heard it described quite like that before but I guess it sums it  up.
 
Had great hopes for the activity level given the later start time but  it 
wasn't to be. As you said, me, Clive, Dave and others gave it our all in the  
lower reaches but for me the same as last year - a paltry 12 QSOs in 8  counties. 
Could have worked the whole of EU that called but stuck to the  guns with 
many variants on "SRI ONLY EI/GI 73".
 
First time (last year) was interesting, second time was two times too  many!
