I too had this hassle, but on 160m - which is the only antenna within 
1/4 wave of the router (a dipole).

There is a wealth of info about this on the Topband at contesting.com 
website - some of the data would be pertinent to 80m too no doubt.

In fact, I believe there has been some recent correspondence about 
this (and the usual on the spot helpful hints from Tom W8JI).

I fixed mine by swapping round the inner and outer of the coax feed - 
so it must have been a marginal problem.
