Looks like mine is the only entry representing CVRS this year. The world
of work has suddenly caught up with 2E0CVN and he wasn't home in time to
start the contest unfortunately.
I had to work hard for my 267 Qs, initially sandwiched between G3TXF and
G3TBK and with a lower antenna than usual. I had the worst first half
hour since 1992 (45 QSOs), and then after a handful of second VFO QSOs
decided that S+P would pick the rate up, which it did. Finally settled
on a new run frequency for the last 75 minutes and was called by most of
those on my 'gotaways' list. Hourly numbers were 92/76/56/43
I got the impression there were quite a few new callsigns active this
year (I mean new to AFS, not the likes of G6AY just airing a different
call!) which seemed encouraging and yes, the GMs were all loud.
