My reply (below) to Mike might benefit from a wider viewing - perhaps I'm
wrong?

'Operating arrangements involving other individuals' doesn't include the
station you are working - as long as you are in QSO with the station during
the contest and on a permitted band/mode, then I can't see the rules
preventing you from arranging to QSY, make a sked, etc. All GB7HQ stations
count as a single multi-multi entity. I can't point you to the rule book,
but if this was not the case, then surely anyone who has ever moved a
station to another band would be in breach? And that's probably most of us.
Look forward to working you from GB7HQ on 10 SSB :)

I have just read the rules for the IARU contest they refer you to the ARRL
HF rules as well - so I read them. If a GB7HQ operator asks a SO station to
QSY to work another GB7HQ station he is in effect causing the SO to breach
the HF rule 2.1.1 which states "Use of spotting assistance or nets
(operating arrangements involving other individuals, DX-alerting nets,
packet, Internet, etc) is not permitted.". The breach being in the
"operating arrangements involving other individuals" section of the rule.
To overcome this I was going to enter as MO single TX SSB but there is no
such category as MO single is mixed mode only. I refuse to be forced to use
CW or to compete with CW so I ask that the operators at GB7HQ refrain from
giving advice on air which could be construed as "operating arrangements
involving other individuals". I will, of course, attempt to give GB7HQ QSOs
an 6 bands SSB only as I have done every year I have entered this contest.
