[UK-CONTEST] Vanity Calls

Why shouldn't we have any specific call we want? You can buy a
registration number for your car?
We are talking hobby here - as in past time - something we do in our
spare time for pleasure....
A call sign is only an identifier so as long as it is registered and in
the laid down format what does it matter
what the call sign is?
Why are we getting all hot under the collar about something that it
totally meaningless?
Perhaps the sun is too hot in England - send some of it up here!!
