f. Only one scoring contact may be made with a given station on each
band, regardless of suffix (/P, /M, etc.) during an individual contest or
cumulative activity period. More than one contact with the same operator
using different call signs may not be claimed. Contacts with stations which
have no other contest contacts may be disallowed. All non-scoring contacts
must be clearly marked in the log.
Chris, I've copied the above from the general rules and these apply unless
specifically overwritten for a particular contest.
So go for different modes but not with the same station

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] RSGB 50MHz Trophy - 21/22 June A question
Looking at the rules I can't work out if this contest is SSB only, CW
only or dual mode, and if it is dual mode if I can move say an SSB
station down to the CW end for a 2nd QSO. The rules say Exchange - RST,
suggesting it is CW only but all the activity appears to be SSB. I've
made 24 Qs on SSB to get settled in but would like to swop modes now and
again if it is dual mode, and it would be nice to move some of the more
experienced ops to make it more interesting.
It's not a serious entry but knwoiung the rules might help!
