I spent weeks researching this. Finally settled on a Sony Bravia X3000 40" model. Absolutely awesome, no TVI now either when operating. Also invested in Sky HD receiver with minimal package, I think £20 + 10 for HD. It's frightening. Channel 4 now is full HD ch.140 and many progs on BBC say watch the HD service as well. Wimbledon and Euro2008 will be freeview as well. After 12months u can cancel sky if u like and keep the Rx. We love it here. BTW we also bought a Blu ray player to enjoy upscaled DVD's and blu ray.
