In the early 1980's the Liverpool Club used a Tape Loop from an answering
machine for a voice keyer...very succesful in the Restricted Sections of SSB
FD 1981---84 I think..

Back in the late 60s the Mid-Lanark Radio Club (GM3PXK/P) had an
electro-mechanical counter that was incremented to show the next serial
number. Did that count as assisted?
