It's a good point, and something I should attend to as webmaster of the
HF Contests web site.

Committee composition isn't a secret. There have been undoubted benefits
in merging the committees. For example, G0GJV's checking software is way
ahead of what we had for HF contests, and as time permits, Mike is
adapting it for use in checking the HF parts of the programme.
Similarly, as a very much amateur webmaster for HF I have had help from
Pete, G4CLA. There have been numerous other areas of cross-fertilisation.

However, when it comes to matters of policy we stick pretty rigidly to
the HF/VHF divide. I know you had suspicions that the decision on KST
was driven by we HF operators, but nothing could be further from the
truth: the HF 'side' of the Committee did not take part in the
discussion nor the decision.

The list of Committee members is as follows and you'll see there is a
good mix of HF and VHF experience. Seven have 'corresponding member'
status though this has less meaning now that most business is conducted
by email anway: G0ADH G0FCT G0GJV G0KYS G0MTN G3RXP G3UFY G3VQO G3WRR
G3XSV G3XTT G4BUO G4CLA G4CZB G4DDN G4FNL G4PIQ G4TSH G4BVY G4VXE G4WFR
G8GSQ G8IYS MM0BQI MM0CCC
