Dear UK-Contest,
I don't always agree with Clive but this time he is right on the button.
DX Cluster was merely the first of many technological innovations which are
changing the face of contesting. I too would love to uninvent some of them
but that can't be done, I'm afraid.
As to discovering the cheats CQWW has already developed algorithms to
identify the extreme cases. Blatant cheats are being unmasked. The
programmers are honing their skills over time to identify more outliers.
Having said that, we all know that society is largely self-policing, same
goes for contesters. The vast majority stick precisely to the rules.
Cultural upbringing provides an exception to this in certain areas, mostly
in Europe.
As said before, there are dozens of contests to choose from: yer pays yer
money 'n takes yer choice, so to speak.
