[UK-CONTEST] Re Skimmer - was QTC in WAEDC RTTY

Hi Paul

So I'm not allowed to use an automatic CW decoder?? I can recall working a
fully automatic KH6IJ back in the late 1950's. SD encourages you to operate
CW as a data mode in the TX direction, so why not the other way around? And
what about my hand-crafted master.dta file - another time saver? Surely any
arrangement of my station that I may care to make is my business, as long as
I don't receive real-time help from others . . .

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy copying CW as much as any, but I'm one of the
Old F***s and we really shouldn't close our eyes (or ears!) to new ways of
doing things (or are they so new? - morse undulators* were widely used
during WWII)

* for those of more recent vintage, an undulator is a bit like a telegram,
except the paper is inked by a solenoid driven pen, coupled to the
(rectified) receiver audio output.
