Despite help from some other compatible contests (several stations were heard calling "CQ Test All"!), this year was disappointing - the US opening was limited to a scratchy handful around and before their sunset and the last hour was especially hard work.  At least, that was the case in Sussex - there were some pretty fancy numbers being bandied about further north.  End number was 219 - I think most of the dupes were caught by my trusty sheet, but Paul usually manages to find a few more when I get around to keying the log into SD.

I still can't get my head around why the extended RSGB countries list isn't applied to this event, although the General Rules (which invoke the list) are specifically called up.  I suspect this must originate from those early days when the call areas involved weren't expected to figure much in the action.   Shouldn't this now be remedied?
