Reprise
At 11:55z W9NGA in AZ was 579 working a JA who was inaudible. He was
running a Kw into a 2el at 25m. No other USA were heard so in view of
that and his directional antenna, one must speculate that this was a
highly skewed path. Using just a vertical here I couldn't check that of
course. I strongly suspect that once again this was some kind of polar path
The band was once again very quiet indicating low absorption I think. It
was noticeable when I last checked ionoprobe that the couple of cycle
24 spots had disappeared, and the flux had retreated from the heady
heights of the low 70s, back to the upper 60s typical over most of the year.
A couple of SMs called him when he had finished, but he didn't seem to
be hearing them.
