Hi Dave
Yes intending to hit either V2A, J6 or J3.  XYL and myself still trying
to find best deal for one of those, we will let you know ASAP Sharon has
the brochures and we just need to site down and go through them.
Thoughts are a hotel for 10 days but taking a holiday villa for 3 days
for the contest.  Rig will be FT857 (100watts) 80 and 40m dipoles and a
beam in a bag for 20/15 and 10m. Could do with some help as to arranging
callsigns once we have the island of choice agreed!

But most certainly I would like for us to be part of the team!

It might help us make a choice quicker if we know if anyone else is
intending to do any of the three we have in mind!

Would be DX Travellers

It is coming to the time of the year when folks traditionally plan and 
book next year's holidays.

Is anybody planning a DX-Pedition trip to an exotic Commonwealth venue 
for the BERU weekend? 
If so, and you would like to help boost the fortunes of the Rest-of-
the-World Team, please let me know.

Remember that there are many easy-to-reach venues in the Caribbean, 
and it's a great place to take the XYL for a holiday! So far I've not 
heard of plans for anybody to be QRV from J3, J6, V2, 9Y, (available by 
direct flights) or from VP2v, VP2m, VP2e, VP5 (need short inter-Island 
hops).  Holiday venues there to tempt anybody! 

Commonwealth Contest from afar is a very different experience to 
entering from the UK, with the possibility of "running" for extended 
periods when the bands open to UK or Canada, using simple equipment and 
antennas.
