[UK-CONTEST] 21/28 MHz contest

After a reasonable showing on a casual and part-time entry last year I  had 
intended to do the whole contest this year but other things prevented  an early 
start and unfortunately I couldn't get on until around 1230 UTC.  Started on 
21 CW and was immediately called by an RX6. I thought that would  be the start 
of something big but unfortunately it was a false alarm. I  worked a mere 8 
QSOs over the next 2.5 hours, all on 21 CW, 7 EU and one  EA8. Strong hint of 
sporadic-E. Went to 28 often and called and searched  but nothing heard at all. 
 

Last year in the post 1230 slot I worked 3 Ws and VP8NO but the conditions  
were clearly not up to that this year.
 
Called and search on both 21 and 28 for a while after 1400 but nothing  new 
to work so gave up shortly afterwards.
 
100w to a sloping 15m dipole  with the top end at 10m.
