G'day, I'm making up a band data cable to connect between Bob VP8LP's FT-1000MP Mk5 and his Expert 1K-FA linear. Pin 8 of the Yaesu plug is cryptically labelled "linear" and I can't find anything which says what it does. I'm sure someone will know. I also plan to use the pin 1 +13V as the linear "remote on" signal. Regards, Mike VP8NO
