Chris

I claimed two year's ago, when we had a lightning strike. It paid for
repair to radio, new ATU, new rotator/control box, new Microham unit and
host of other stuff that I cannot immediately recall. It was all done by
phone and was well into four figures. The insurance company (Barclays, and
I am not connected!) gave the go ahead over the phone, did not visit or even
ask me to submit the busted gear. Whilst dealing with that claim, I
sked - and they confirmed - that my household insurance policy also covered
my masts and aerials.
