Just reading the above quickly I picked out 'boat', 'settled' and assumed
that in the next few words were going to be 'with water coming in', I had to
look again to see that it was winter!
Following on that theme from all that I read about plasma TV's the best
thing to do with it is to use it as an (expensive) anchor. A contact in
Essex is trying to get something done about a neighbour's plasma TV which
makes 80m unusable with little success, I'm not surprised to hear that so
far OFCOM aren't interested.
I have a TV with an LCD screen, as far as I can tell the only interference
that it genreates comes from its switched mode PSU which is only audible on
LW & MW up to about 10 ft away.
