Sorry Clive but your DXpedition QSL manager is obviously a pirate !

I know the real G9BF well - his classic amplifier design with the 
push-pull-parallel 813s, modulated with 50Hz AC directly on the anodes (to 
ensure a clear frequency) is well respected and has been copied by many UZ4 
and UY3 stations.

Some older reflectees may remember some of G9BF's 'special operating 
techniques' ?

BTW I worked the last DXpedition to these islands anyway  ;-)
