Contrary to Chris I quite enjoyed it. Started off S&P and jogged along
nicely until about 21.00 when the potential field was waning. Then went on a
run round about 3550 or so and that worked well for the remaing 30 minutes.
Ended up with 86 in LOW category which is a PB for me. All that with a good
old TS830 and an end-fed inverted L about 20ft a.g.l.

I really can't be bothered to sit on a frequency for the preceding 30
minutes - or even 5 minutes but if others want to do so, then so be it. At
least it gives me a chance to create a paper band-map ready for an S&P
start. What I do think gives maybe an unfair advantage is the use of
electronic band maps but that's probaby only sour grapes because I don't
have one. What is definitely an unfair advantage is the use of a K3 when I
can't afford one. I still think we ought to have some sort of "QSOs per
buck" multiplier (divider??) to help out us poor pensioners. Tongue
(almost) back in cheek.
