I believe the normal arrangement is for tickets to be collected in 
person when you arrive at the convention and they are not sent through 
the post. I have not bought a package for a few years now (and won't be 
this year, if I attend it will be for the day only) but when I last did 
that is how it worked - confirmation email but tickets collected when I 
arrived, the card was debited the next day.

Although this system seems to work OK, it is most confusing as the 
emails do not say anywhere to collect your tickets when you arrive. 
Maybe they are not debiting your account until nearer the event as a 
bit of generosity during the depression - but it would be nice to be 
told if that is the case.

Or maybe they are so busy sorting out the Hamvention the weekend before 
that they have overlooked the Convention. Hope they have booked the 
centre...
