Hi,

First posting to this list and my take on the above.

Station is FT-847 barefoot 50W, no masthead preamp, 2x15 Cue Dee at 13m, Ecoflex 15 feeder. ASL is 60M.

My pts/qso were down to the lowest it's been for ages 132. QSo's were 67, around the norm, 7 DXCC.

Very little activity from Europe, and didn't manage IO82, 83 or 93 this time, only 17 mults. Did work GJ, but lots of QSB as has been noted in nearly all reports. Worked MM0GPZ/p at the death, was looking, but didn't hear him until late on, Gordon your problems noted, well done and thanks for coming out on such a night!

GM from here is difficult on 144, and almost impossible on 432 due to a 100m hill to my NW, so we "eastcoasters" ( good name for an AFS group) do have problems working UK, and Essex isn't flat! Worked GI4SNA, but not GD8EXI, so a path was there but no takers. Generally I only work one or two in IO82, 83 & 93 per session, and I do beam up that way and call CQ too, but very few takers each month, very frustrating when I see from the claimed scores several stations in those squares.
