I posted a similar request on the CDXC reflector a few weeks back Bob, and
bought one from the Davis range

There are various UK distributors, search for the best deal.

I didn't want a rain gauge or any peripheral bits, so went for the Weather
Wizard III.

Subject: [UK-CONTEST] Tower Weather Monitoring Ideas?

Hi Everyone,

A little off topic but there will be someone here who may be able to help.
We've had awful high winds again here in GU all day and I thought that I had
better start monitoring local wind speed/weather to be sure that I'm keeping
the tower up at safe heights. Does anyone recommend a really good UK weather
monitoring station that is worth its money that is not wireless but wired to
the sensors? I'll mount this on the home chimney stack some 30 metres away
where I have a spare chimney with stainless brackets etc ready for such a
device. Post here if it's of use to others, otherwise just drop me a mail
offline. I'd like a black surround display if possible in the shack to match
existing kit.

Thanks
