Elecraft are currently using Commodity Code 851770 90 00 which is zero rated so you will not pay any duty. However you will have to pay VAT on the cost of the K3 + shipping cost. VAT goes up from 15% to 17.5% on 1st Jan, so if I was you I would get my order in PDQ and hope they ship it before then.

I used Federal Express because I have an account with them. I think Elecraft normally use UPS or another courier. Expect £50 - £70.

My advice for what it's worth is definitely go for the second receiver - diversity reception is just magic!
