You don't need to Pete, the facts speak for themselves.
UK/DX VHF+ contest DXC spots from competitors have all but dissappeared since the KST/DXC faux par whereas prior to that we were all happy to help each other just like our fellow EU operators do right now during every contest.

I don't see how they were wrong, I mentioned you'd made 3 UK 2m spots this month and you confirmed it! Prior to that you'd spotted John in May and before that the last UK station you spotted was G2KF/P  in 2005.
We both used the same source, the "Search" facility on DX-Summit.
Enter - G4CLA, the year, ALL MODE, and either VHF or choose 2m or 70cm to see individual bands.

How come it's the first item on your list of do's and don'ts of recommended DXC use then?

The list of do's and don'ts are:
    1. Do spot DX you have worked or heard when tuning the band for the
benefit of all.
