In 2007 I contacted Vladimir in regard to assisting him to
handle the massive QSL operation for UK cards only.

We had little correspondence until quite recently when
clearly he had just completed the UK direct cards. All his
logs were paper hand written and all his QSL's that I have
seen are hand written so you can imagine the scale when
he had aaproaching 200K QSO's on his three tours.

Now for the good news I was informed about 3-weeks ago he
was mailing me a parcel of cards in fact all of the UK
outstanding direct cards. I do believe some outgoing to him
may never have been received and as such I wont have a reply
QSL from Vlad. The box arrived today all 2.75kgs worth with
some 180-odd envelopes all sealed and ready for stamps. I
plan to mail these over the next few days so if you think
Vlad still owes you some QSL's previously claimed direct but
still outstanding and you do not receive an envelope withing
the next 7-days please do two things.
One resend to Vlad those outstanding, let me have an email
showing band,mode,date,time etc not forgetting your call
and I will make up a check list for Vlad.

At this time I have no information in regard to the status
on cards sent via the Bureau but it has taken 2-years to
reach this point with direct cards so if you need a card my
advice is try them direct.
