I set up N1MM earlier this afternoon, just in case I can grab an hour or two 
on RAEM.  I have set it up to send 54N02W (with the zero sent as five 
dashes).

If you are using N1MM, you might try putting a received co-ordinate in 
without the leading zero and see if N1MM scores it correctly.  I have not 
tried that myself, but don't fancy tramping through the snow to the shack 
again this evening!  If it does, I guess your 53N1W should suffice.

Just been having a look at the rules for the RAEM test Sunday, my Longtitude 
and Latitude are 153.41 North 1.32West
so I need to send 001 53N1W is that correct ??
