[UK-CONTEST] Not DX or contest, but maybe of interest to travellers to IOM, Jersey or Guernsey in future

Not bizarre, but regrettable - I've been thinking of England as a 3rd  
world country for some time now - we don't manufacture anything, our  
economy is the slowest to recover, we are developing a police state  
and our politicians are corrupt - have I missed anything?
