Hi all
I usually use wire made up of 7 strands of 0.5mm wire (7/0.5),twisted
and covered with insulation for aerial wire. I seem to recollect that
its called "lighting singles" by electricians. Normally I buy this wire
from the local electrical wholesaler. However, they have now stopped
selling this variety.
I can get 7 strands of 0.2mm (7/0.2) but I don't think this will be
strong enough for what I want to do with it.
Has anyone got a source of the 7/0.5 cable ? I need 600 - 700 metres, so
would be happy to buy a 1000m drum, or multiple 100m drums or rolls.
Thanks
Adrian MW1LCR
