I don't think we can reasonably expect the CC to take into account
club meetings when setting its calendar, we'd be here all year
debating it - the original point was to switch things around so that
two of the CC's own contests don't happen on consecutive nights of the
same week. Which seems eminently reasonable.

It's a happy coincidence if this also helps some clubs with their
meeting schedules.....
