Hi Don / all,

FYI, 9M6BRC ("Borneo Radio Club") will be active in the IARU Contest,
multi-single, with several of the local Sabah amateurs operating, plus
me on SSB and John, 9M6XRO, on CW. Nothing special, but we should have
a decent signal - the station is located on a hilltop 700ft ASL
overlooking the city and with a clear take-off from south-west to
north-east via north. The antenna is a Cushcraft A4S on a 30ft tower,
but the tower is *right* on the edge of the cliff so the effective
height above ground must be several hundred feet. On 40 and 80m we
have dipoles at 70ft AGL and again several hundred feet above the
surrounding terrain (nothing for topband.)

Hope to give many of you Zone 54 on several bands - and we'll
particularly be looking for GB7HQ of course.

73,
Steve, 9M6DXX
