[UK-CONTEST] IOTA from the mainland

I puzzled over what strategy to use from this three point qth but a
dinner in the village square on Saturday night made the 12h decision for me.

After studying contest reports from earlier years I couldn't see any
advantage in running and went for multipliers S&P unassisted (and had to
apologise to a Baltic island mult who wanted me to spot him). I beamed
north much of the time to search out as many G stations on as many bands
and islands as I could.

After a four hour stint at the start the dinner went on longer than
expected but ideal for the second four hour session concentrating on low
band mults. I suffered from F being still limited to the bottom 100kHz
of 40m and needed more than one element on 40m. Eventually tuning around
20m for any NA before catching some sleep I netted VK7XX long path
around 3.00am local.

Found a lot of Mediterranean islands during the final four hour bash but
the last hour was a bit slow until two new multipliers turned up within
four minutes of the end. Upsum: had a whale of a time!
