Sounds like you had fun anyway! It's been said here that serial numbers even
both the same sent twice is not a problem as long as it's shown fully in the
log!! I think that was from our Rock, UFY!!

Hello UK-contesters

The GM7V team (Keith GM4YXI, John MM0CCC, Colin GM0RLZ, Jim GM0NAI and Chris
GM3WOJ) travelled to Benbecula EU-010, as in 2006 and 2008. The weather was
amazingly kind to us - not as hot as last year, but sunny and dry for
setting up and dismantling. There was a raging storm on the Sunday morning
which had us all worried about getting soaked in the afternoon, which didn't
happen.

Great conditions on 10m and our new 40m 4-square (tnx Colin) worked well.
WinTest v3.27.0 did not seem to work as well as last year - we had 3 PCs in
a network (run/mult/cluster+back-up) but at the end of the contest we had 3
different points totals, despite equal QSO and mult numbers - puzzling. Also
had a problem with sent serial numbers - if the run rate is high our mult
station tries to 'grab' the serial number by entering GM7V 001 (or the mult
callsign) then edits it once/if the QSO is made, but for the first time ever
WT issued 2 stations with the same serial number. Would be interested in
comments from those who used WT v4 this year ? Luckily I think the IOTA
checkers are lenient with issued serial number software problems.

Finished with 3002 QSOs for 11.3M pts - Island Multi-op DXpedition section
