I'll second the recommendation for Vargarda, I've got a 9 ele, bought
secondhand off Junksale a couple of years ago for about 50 quid - to me it
seems the best compromise of size vs gain, and build quality is great, think
I'm the 3rd or 4th owner of mine. Performance is good e.g. with 50W at the
feedpoint I get plenty of WSJT MS QSOs in the major meteor showers, tropo
from IO81 into PA/ON under flat conditions, etc.

Only thing I'd change is get another to stack as a pair :-)

Cushcraft ! but personally I would go for the 9-element or 11-element
Vargarda.

The 9-element is a good design and gainwise comparable to a 17-element
Tonna.

The Vargarda is made from high quality aluminium and will never corrode.

I use an array of 4 x 9-element Vargarda + a single 9-element Vargarda.
