I am planning to do the JARL 'All Asia' contest this weekend.
The rules state that the 10 minute rule applies to single op entries which is the first occaision I have had to take heed of it.
Here is the rule......
>4: 10 minutes rule(CQ WW method) is applied to Single Transmitter stations. The 10 minutes rule means that only one transmitter >and one band are permitted during any 10 minutes period, defined as starting with the first logged QSO on a band. However, one->and only one other band may be used during any 10 minutes period if and only if the station worked is a new multiplier. This rule is >spplied to not only running stations, but multi-stations respectively.....
As I understand it if I am running say on 15 metres and want to move a mult up to 10 metres, can i do that, then immediately return to 15m? If then I work another station who would be another mult, after say 5 minutes from the first move, can I move him also up to 10m
which would be that same one other band?
BTW - many thanks Peter & Quentin for those NFD reports, enjoyable reading, and also 73 to Jiri, in his time with us he appears to have supported our contest activities with great enthusiasm and also has provided welcome input to these pages.
73 Brian 5B4AIZ (C4Z).
